Dream Academy is a fully legal British / Italian company based in Italy.
Our head office is in Gradara ( Le Marche) and we have a second office base in the Verona / Lake Garda area.
A legal Italian Tour Operator with insurance policies for civil liability, offering peace of mind knowing your event is in safe hands.
This does not mean offering package weddings, as we create only bespoke weddings with authentic experiences and impeccable service.
We fervently believe that your wedding is the most precious day of your life which is why you should take time to find the best wedding planner making sure it is someone who will live up to the great trust they are being honored with.

Born in Scotland, Marion started her career teaching music where her natural dynamic and artistic expressions continue to shine today as she composes all of her weddings with the professionalism, technical skills, precision and emotions of any orchestral conductor.
On moving to Italy over 20 years ago she has built up an extensive repertoire and valuable experience working for some of the UK and Italy's leading Tour Operators & Travel Agencies, which has given her a 360° vision of the travel & hospitality industry.Marion says "With my contacts and experience gained in this field, I know what to do and who to call should your travel plans need tweaked !
Marion created her own dream when she obtained her tour opertors license and born from her passion for the travel and wedding industry, she created Dream Academy to share this love with the many happy couples who  are planning a Destination Wedding in Italy.She says, "I use this license to give a legal and professional service to all our happy couples".“
I have worked in many fine venues and when I find a place that takes my breath away, I want to share that with my lovely couples.

Genuinely passionate for weddings, Marion constantly follows what is going on in the Wedding World but says, “At Dream Academy,
"We don't follow trends..- we set them”. We were planning Italian Weddings to perfection long before it became a modern trend and something that unfortunately today is seen as “an easy and fun new job” It is certainly fun and rewarding but for me  Wedding Planning is more than just a job and has become a “Way of Life” rather than just another day at the office ! It requires lots of  hard work , skill, meticulous attention to detail and above all , lots of tender loving care.
We don’t organize hundreds of weddings a year , nor do we cover all of Italy but prefer to keep it small , intimate and 100% hands on.
What gives us the Leading Edge are the many years, we have been actively involved with local authorities and churches in the areas we live and work in and have been responsible for opening doors to new locations which now offer weddings with civil validity in private and public locations, offering you the possibility to legally marry in private villas, castles, gardens, beaches and other outdoor venues. Our relationships with the various Town Halls, Consulates and Religious bodies is a great asset when dealing with the sometimes difficult and complicated legal documentation and so we can lead you through this process in an easy and simple way.
We were first planners to open Juliet's Balcony in Verona as a civil wedding venue and to perform a ceremony there.

Our motto is “Casa Nostra è Casa Vostra “ Our Home is your Home “ and when you go home you will know that you have not only had a smooth stress free event but also that you have made many new friends for life. Our contact with all of happy couples goes on well beyond the actual wedding day and we just love keeping in touch and hearing your news when you have a new member of the family-(we love the bambinos) or that you have moved into a new home, changed jobs etc. We often meet up with our past couples, and even some of their family and friends too, when we are back in Ireland or the UK and it is always a lovely and happy time with such great memories to share.Our Xmas card list gets longer every year!
Nothing on this earth is more romantic than an Italian Wedding and each and every one of them is composed of love, understanding, friendliness, fun, genuine caring and a desire to give you a performance of a lifetime.
She receives many a standing ovation and admits to shedding a tear or two at all of her weddings.
It is great to see the end results and I love it when my brides phone me after the wedding and say they are missing their planning days ! The job satisfaction of being a Wedding Planner in Italy is simply amazing .
