New Procedures for Civil Documents UK

Please note that as from 2013, there will be changes in the way UK couples should obtain their Nulla Ostas for a Civil Ceremony in Italy.

Details of this still need to be relesed from the British Consulate and we as Wedding Planners await to hear from them.

I will be attending a meeting with the consular staff in November and so will keep you all updated as their intentions become known.

From what I can gather they aim to make things even more simpler than it is for you to  obtain the documents needed for your legal civil marriage ceremony in Italy.
