Weddings at Malcesine Castle

Malcesine is famous for its Scaglieri castle perched precariously on the cliff and overhanging the sparkling blue waters of Lake Garda below.

The castle is thought to date back to 568 ad. and is reached from the myriad of narrow, winding cobbled streets dotted with shops, bars, restaurants and balconies hanging with colourful displays of scented flowers.

The heart of Malcesine is the bustling little harbour lined with bars and places for al fresco dining.

Standing guard and overlooking this perfect scenario is the majestic Monte Baldo, the highest mountain in the Lake Garda area.

 
Most weddings take place on the stuning outside terrace of the castle. This is one of the few places in Ialy where a legal outdoor civil ceremony can take place.
